Local Artist Sandi Wilson

Sandi Wilson has been painting for over 20 years, and is self taught. She lives in Baltimore, and we are excited to have her beautiful pieces for sale in our store.

Like her photographic images she has the ability to bring soul to her paintings. She does this by capturing the beauty and solitude of landscapes and personalities of people from across the world. “To express and share what I see through my lens is a joy for me” Wilson humbly credits her natural talent to her religious beliefs. Spirituality weaves its way into her work.
Sandi Wilson builds her abstract acrylic paintings with layers of polymer and paint. She also adds photo transfers which results in creating depth and richness to her canvasses. She also has been working extensively doing encaustic paintings (pigmented wax that is melted ). Being a professional photographer for over 21 years Sandi incorporates her photography skills to transfer details onto her acrylic paintings. The Super Zeros!

Or, as they like to be called, Ze Zuper Zeros! These little guys are hero friends whose "Zuper powers" and problems blend together. They have their pluses and minuses, but they're super special, just like you!

This is Zonk the monkey. He is a super climber, and can reach the top of anything in no time flat, but, he's afraid of heights, so he uses his cape to parachute to the ground!

This is Zola the koala. She can stay awake all night keeping watch, but she gets very tired and falls asleep during the day, so she cozies up with her cape and goes to sleep.


This is Zoco the crocodile. He can chew through anything with his sharp teeth, but, his teeth are always dirty, so he uses his cape to wipe them clean!


This is Zipo the Hippo, he can swim super fast, but, he doesn't like getting wet, so he uses his cape to dry off super quickly.


This is Zebu the zebra, he is duper good at hiding, and uses his cape as camouflage, but, he's always getting lost. His spotted cape helps his friends find him!

This is Zaza the mouse, she can crawl through super small spaces, but, she's afraid of the dark, so her friends use her cape to pull her out!
